Cowboys-Giants Week 1: How to Watch, Listen and Stream
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Dallas Cowboys are set to open their season against the New York Giants in a highly anticipated Week 1 matchup at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night.
The Cowboys enter the game with a significantly revamped defense, now coordinated by Christian Parker. Dallas has added several notable pieces, including rookie safety Caleb Downs, the No. 11 overall pick, as well as All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and three-time Pro Bowler Kenny Clark.
The Cowboys have also added veteran pass rusher and future Hall of Famer Von Miller, who is expected to make his Dallas debut against the Giants.
The matchup will feature an intriguing battle between Dallas' new-look defensive front and Giants running back Cam Skattebo, known for his physical running style.
Prescott Leads Cowboys Offense
Quarterback Dak Prescott will lead a Dallas offense featuring star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and newcomer George Pickens. Wide receiver Ryan Flournoy has also generated attention during the preseason and could play an important role.
The Cowboys' offensive line, however, will face an early challenge with All-Pro Tyler Smith expected to miss several games.
Running back Javonte Williams will also be looking to establish the ground game and help create opportunities for Prescott and Dallas' receiving corps.
Meanwhile, Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers will be one of the key players to watch. Nabers previously expressed disappointment that New York passed on the opportunity to select Downs, adding extra intrigue to Sunday's matchup.
When and Where
Prescott has enjoyed remarkable success against the Giants, including a winning streak dating back to 2017. New York will attempt to end that streak in the season opener.
