Lady Gaga Welcomes First Baby With Fiancé Michael Polansky
The Grammy-winning singer, 40, and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first baby together, according to a source who spoke to PEOPLE.
Representatives for Gaga did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. *Page Six was the first to report the news.
The arrival of her first child marks a long-awaited milestone for Gaga, who has spoken publicly on several occasions about her hopes of becoming a mother.
In a YouTube video posted in December 2019, Gaga discussed her 10-year plan and revealed that having children was part of her vision for the future.
“I want to do more movies, I want to have babies,” she said at the time.
The singer spoke about motherhood again in a March 2020 interview with InStyle, saying she was excited about having children and looked forward to becoming a mother.
Gaga also reflected on her famous “Mother Monster” nickname, explaining that she already felt she had developed a maternal relationship with her millions of fans.

Polansky serves as the executive director of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. Gaga, meanwhile, has been a prominent advocate for mental health through her Born This Way Foundation, which she launched in 2012.
A source previously described Polansky as supportive and hardworking, noting that the couple had developed a strong partnership and appreciated each other’s dedication.

Gaga publicly revealed her engagement to Polansky in July 2024 during the Paris Olympics. While attending a swimming event with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, Gaga introduced Polansky as “my fiancé.”
